What is a Prime Rib Roast?

A prime rib roast is a tasty cut from the beef rib primal section, it's the same cut as a ribeye steak, marbled with flavorful fat and cooked low and slow to tender perfection. This is a deposit for the prime rib, Options will be 3-4 Bone and whole prime ribs. Please let me know how many people you are feeding in the delivery instructions section. Deposits are non-refundable but will be applied toward your final prime rib total.
Half and Quarter Prime Ribs Working Sizes (These could change slightly)
- Small: 2.75-3.75lbs
- Medium 3.75-4.75lbs
- Large 4.75-5.75lbs
Whole Prime Ribs will be $36.25 per Pound and we are expecting them to be anywhere from 11-15lbs based on their hanging weight. Please email me back today with a formal commitment for this cut.
The rule of thumb for buying prime rib is to buy one pound per person. A bone-in standing rib roast will feed about 2 people per bone. Also, be sure to consider how many side dishes you plan to serve. If you are preparing a large holiday meal with plenty of other food you could plan on ½ – ¾ pound prime rib per person.
